Airborne Bicycles offers the original owner a standard two (2) year warranty from the date of purchase against manufacturers defects and/or workmanship under normal and intended usage. If a valid warranty claim is presented during this limited warranty period, Airborne will either repair the product free of charge or replace the product or component with a new one functionally equivalent to the original product or component. Certain components may have additional warranties offered by the component manufacturer, in which case we will refer you to the manufacture for support.
This limited warranty does not cover paint damage, fading, or changes in paint color. Damages caused by crashes, misuse, or neglect (lack of regular care and routine maintenance) will void your warranty. Any additional costs, such as re-assembly or shipping costs, are not the responsibility of Airborne Bicycles.
Some components are expected to wear. Normal wear and tear are not covered by warranty. Routine maintenance can help prolong the life of some components, such as chains, cassettes, sprockets, pulleys, and cables. A little love can go a long way; sooner or later almost all parts of your bike will reach the end of their service life.
Your Airborne Bicycle was shipped to your doorstep 85% assembled. You are responsible for the final assembly, along with regular care and routine maintenance. For general assembly instructions, please visit this page. Assembly is pretty straight forward. Still we strongly recommend taking your bike to a local shop and having it checked over by a qualified bicycle mechanic before riding it for the first time (Airborne Bicycles can be serviced anywhere). Improper assembly may void your warranty.
We’ve all crashed. It’s not fun, but it happens. Should you crash hard enough to damage your Airborne frame to the point where it’s unrideable, we offer the original owner (with purchase receipt) the opportunity to replace the frame at a highly reduced cost. This offer is valid for three (3) years from the original date of purchase. You’ll receive the same frame or a newer version from our current model (frame only, no parts will be included).
Crash replacement is limited to the original owner and only for damages that compromise the functionality of the bike. To inquire about replacement, email email@example.com. Please include a copy of your purchase receipt and attach photos that clearly illustrate the damage.
