We just received the official word that Skyhawk DJ bikes have exited the factory and are on the way to our Ohio warehouse. We anticipate these bikes to arrive by the end of August and we are now taking pre-orders.
This year we’re offering the Skyhawk in two colorsways: Black and emerald green.
The Skyhawk was designed, developed, and tested with input from our team riders. Last season Tommy Zula won the first-ever UCI Pump Track World Championship on this same frame design, along with countless other pro pump track victories along the way.
Not everyone can flow as effortlessly as Tommy does, so for the rest of us mortals the ride gets smoothed out with 100mm of travel up front provided by Manitou. The Circus Expert air fork is performance proven and brings great value for the money — $450 aftermarket retail value.
BMX runs deep in our bloodline, so for the Skyhawk we chose to spec 170mm heat-treated tubular chromoly 3-piece cranks with a 48-spline chromoly spindle, precision sealed Euro bottom bracket, and stamped 6061 aluminum 32-tooth sprocket.
We’ve partnered with another local Ohio company, Kenda Tires, to help keep you rubber side down. Kenda Kranium 26 x 2.1” tires provide the perfect combination of traction, shock absorption, and low-rolling resistance.
