The first Red Bull Pump Track World Championship Qualifier on USA soil for the 2019 season went down this weekend in Leavenworth, Washington. The event attracted over 70 riders from all across North America.
Airborne’s Tommy Zula qualified second during time trials, dominated during the elimination rounds, and then put together a blazing run against Keagan Nelson in the finals to take the win. His winning time of 16.8 seconds was the fastest lap of the entire weekend. This is Tommy’s second career Red Bull Pump Track victory — He also won the Oklahoma City qualifier last season.
For pump track racing and riding, Tommy’s go-to bike is the Skyhawk DJ 26. Between Tommy and fellow teammate Collin Hudson, the Skyhawk has been ridden to four Pro pump track victories on U.S. soil.
